FAQ

Where is The Great Escape located?

We are located at 1845 SW Hwy 101 in Lincoln City, Oregon on the central Oregon coast.  

What are the hours of operation?

Our escape rooms are open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Booking outside these hours may be available for private events—please contact us for details.

How do I book a room?

Bookings can be made online through our website at www.tgeoregon.com or by calling us at (541) 614-0008 . We recommend reserving in advance to secure your preferred time slot.

How much does it cost?

Pricing starts at $40 per person for a 60-minute experience.  

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

The minimum is 4 players, and the maximum is 8 per room. For larger groups of 12 or more, we do offer a group discount – please contact us.

Is The Great Escape accessible for people with disabilities?

Our facility is a second-floor facility with no elevator, making it currently inaccessible to wheelchairs. 

What should I expect during the game?

Expect a fully immersive experience with puzzles, hidden clues, and interactive props set in themed environments. Our Game Masters provide hints, if needed, and each room has a unique story.

How long does a game last?

Each game is designed for 60 minutes, with an additional 15-30 minutes for briefing and debriefing, totaling about 90 minutes per session.

Is it suitable for all ages?

Our rooms are family-friendly but recommended for ages 12 and up due to moderate intensity. Ages below 16 require a paying adult in the room with them.

Does our group get the whole room to ourselves?

YES!!! Every game is a private escape experience – so choose your team wisely and make sure you have enough eyes, ears, and brains working together to escape in time.

What if I need to cancel?

The Great Escape's refund and reschedule policy is as follows:

  • If you are not be able to make your game time, while we can’t refund, please call or email us and if your game is more than 24 hours away, we can issue you a credit for future play that never expires.

What Happens If I'm Late?

DON'T BE LATE! Please arrive 15 minutes before your game starts. Punctuality is key! To be respectful of other players, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late for your game, you may not be able to play, or we may have to deduct time from your 60 minutes in the room. 

Can I bring my phone or camera inside?

For immersion and safety, personal devices are not allowed inside the rooms. Photos are permitted in designated areas post-game—ask our staff for assistance!

What if we can’t escape in time?

No worries! If the 60-minute timer runs out, our Game Master will conclude the experience and help you escape the room. You can always try again with a new booking!

Are the rooms safe?

Absolutely. All rooms are designed with safety in mind, featuring emergency exits and are monitored by staff. Props are secure, and physical challenges are minimal.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Bring a sense of adventure—no additional items are needed, as all props are provided.

Can I get hints during the game?

Yes, our Game Masters offer hints via an in-room display, ensuring you stay on track without spoiling the fun.

What If I Need to Get Out of the Room Before Time is Up?

You will never be “locked” in the room. At anytime, you will be able to leave the room. We encourage you to stay the entire time and get the full experience but if you must leave for any reason, you will be able to immediately. 

Is Parking Available?

Yes, we have parking in front and on the south side of our building. 

Can I Adjust Player Count After I Book?

Yes! To book your experience we only require the minimum player count be paid for. Please keep in mind the room specific player capacity minimums & maximums, but we do not need a final headcount until you arrive for your game.

Do you offer private events or team building?

Yes, we cater to private parties, corporate team-building events, and special occasions. Contact us for customized packages.

Gift certificates are available for purchase in-store and online—perfect for anyone, from kids to adults, offering a memorable experience that lasts! To redeem online, visit our website, select your preferred date and time, and at checkout, use the redeem code button; the minimum deposit varies by room, and if applied to the deposit, the system will deduct only that amount, with any remaining balance redeemable on your game day after we confirm your player count. Gift cards have no expiration date and can be used for in-store games or merchandise.
